On Thursday, May 16th, the Vancouver chapter of ILTA will be hosting their third annual "Women Who Lead" event at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel, with Ricoh Canada as the proud sponsor.
Knowing how to effectively network is critical for continual personal development. It can help build your professional profile and open you up to new ideas and diverse ways of thinking. But networking isn’t easy. Walking into a room of strangers can be intimidating and maybe even downright scary.
Join us for a “Fireside Chat” with Karen Brookman, CIO of West Canadian Industries, moderated by Andrea Williams, Technology & Emerging Solutions of Ricoh eDiscovery, as they discuss tips, tricks and even some pitfalls to avoid in your journey to becoming a networking master.
Karen Brookman - Chief Innovation Officer, West Canadian Digital Imaging
Andrea Williams (Moderator) - Vice President, Technology & Emerging Solutions, Ricoh eDiscovery

ABOUT WOMEN WHO LEAD
The Women Who Lead initiative started at ILTACON as a seminar and social, with ILTA now supporting the local chapters to bring it to life on a regional basis. The first Women Who Lead event in Vancouver was held October 2017 on the topic, Career Growth: Colleagues, Connections and Collaboration. Following the event, Ann Halkett from Alexander Holburn, Judie Boroevich from BLG, Monique Sever from Harper Grey, and Shirley Madden from Richards Buell Sutton all agreed that they wanted to see more of these events. And so, the Women Who Lead ILTA Vancouver subcommittee was born.
