On September 25th, as part of the wider Canadian Legal Innovation Forum - in association with the Canadian Bar Association and the University of Calgary Faculty of Law - ADB Insights is hosting a Design Thinking Workshop in Calgary, with Ricoh Canada as the proud founding partner.

The purpose of the workshops is to build a local and national network of innovators collaborating to solve challenges faced by the legal sector. Participants will learn and employ design thinking frameworks to address them. Participants will be a mix from law firms, in-house counsel, academia and vendors.

Half-Day, afternoon timing: 5 hour session (followed by networking drinks).

Facilitation partner, Keren Perla (Design Specialist) is a highly experienced facilitator in design-thinking methodology. Co-facilitators are key innovators in the Alberta legal market: Kyla Sandwith, Martine Boucher and Kyle Myck.

The workshop will focus on challenges faced by the legal sector concentrating on the following themes and use design-thinking and other methodologies to address them: Improving the User Experience, Talent – the Recruitment, Retention and Purpose Puzzle, and Enhancing Processes.
- Ricoh's Sean Lynch, Director, Review Services, will lead the Enhancing Processes component of the Workshop, in collaboration with the Workshop facilitators.
